A quick important note for all guests 😊 Due to the resort’s wedding contract policies (not personal rules from us!), all guests attending the wedding events are required to book through our official wedding room block link below. Unfortunately, the resort will not allow access to wedding events for guests booked outside of the room block.
The required minimum stay is November 5–8. You are more than welcome to extend your trip longer than those dates, but reservations cannot be booked for fewer nights than the required stay.
Please also make sure to RSVP so we can plan accordingly and know what everyone would like to eat for the wedding events 😊
Thank you all so much for understanding — we truly appreciate everyone making the trip to celebrate with us, and we want the process to be as smooth as possible for everyone 🤍

Now onto the fun part 😊 I also wanted to share a little bit about our Gaye Holud celebration!
🌼 The Gaye Holud will take place at the Tierra Luna venue at Garza Blanca Resort.
What is a Gaye Holud? “Gaye Holud” literally means “turmeric on the body.” It’s a traditional Bengali wedding ceremony where turmeric paste is applied to the bride and groom’s skin.
Purpose: Turmeric is believed to purify, bless, and beautify the couple before the wedding day. It symbolizes prosperity, fertility, and protection from evil.
Vibe of the Event: It’s festive, casual, and playful. Families and friends from both sides come together, sing, dance, and bring in trays of sweets, gifts, and decorations. The ceremony is filled with yellow, orange, red, and green colors.
👗 What to Wear? The Gaye Holud is colorful and festive!
Women: Holud Attire: Traditional sarees, lehengas, salwar kameez, anarkalis, or indo-western attire in yellow, orange, red (not heavily red), or green are all perfect for the Holud celebration! We generally recommend lehengas, salwar kameez, anarkalis, or indo-western outfits over sarees if you’ve never worn one before, since sarees can definitely be a challenge to put on. But if you’re up for it, YouTube tutorials and a little practice at home before the wedding go a long way 😊
The bride will traditionally wear red for the wedding ceremony, but guests are welcome to wear any color — including outfits with some red or patterns that include red. And unlike many Western weddings, you are definitely allowed to wear white! Floral jewelry is common for the bride, but guests can accessorize however they like.
Men: Panjabis/kurtas in festive colors (yellow, green, orange, or red).
👉 Western Attire Option: If you prefer, women may wear dresses and men may wear suits, as long as the colors match the bright, celebratory theme of the event.
Avoid plain black or white. Think bright, fun, and colorful!
